Time will only tell . . .

Can you believe today is my last working Friday for three entire months!  Blogging will furiously continue, but I wonder what new doors will open with so much wonderful time freed up . . . . For once the future is left unplanned   :  }

Have a fabulous Friday followers!

Busy Busy

So the daytime job has been a little busier than usual, very annoying, and I have been forced to change the time I fill your adoring hearts with these creative inspirational finds to a little later than normal.  It has been that busy that today even I could have covered up and curled into the fetal position just to feel like I existed and wasn't dreaming craziness!

The good thing is that in 5 working days it will all be over as I leave my current full time job and embark on the trip of my life ~ departing next Friday I am set to travel the world with my husband by my side for just over 3 months ~ and the days could not go any faster!  This actually means a few changes for the blog ~ the frequency of my blogging will be reduced to once weekly with allot of international inspiration on offer!  The plan is to keep you in the loop through our eyes and bring you real life "off the street" artistic trends.  Watch this space ~ very exciting times!

True Vintage Finds!

So today I am feeling inspired by the beautiful local antique centers that I am lucky enough to frequent during my lunch break here in Brisbane, Australia . . .  My inspirational browsing has  led me to my decision to finally share this lovely bunch of old photo's I found stashed away in my library of images!

Old telephones - I have this quirky attraction to them!

Ever wondered what our Grandparents got up to when they were young? . . . .  : }

Lovely Monday's

Have yourselves a very lovely Monday everyone!

Cherish the start of this new week and forget about the fact that you could have easily slept in for an extra couple hours!  Life is simply too short to spend it feeling blue ~ let us all get out there and accomplish great things   : }

Ascents of Pink

This stunning cake was photographed by my favourite wedding photographer: Elizabeth Messina for a style shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes. I love the paper doily detail and the little bits of pink incorporated ~  just dresses this cake up perfectly!

Beautiful "Alice" bows - I don't think I have ever gotten over them!  I found this pretty pink one via FASHIONISING Blog ~ the designer goes by the name of: Hopelessly Devoted Hair Accessories.

Heart warming ~ a simple rose bloom is a pretty tea cup : }

Hope & Gratitude ..... the way of the future?

The world did not rest peacefully this past weekend with yet another one of mother nature’s tragic events having took place on Friday 11th March 2011.  The moment when Japan's cataclysmic tsunami engulfed a nation....

As we all unite together and share our thoughts and prayers for the many left with nothing, or the many who are making the cross over journey, one might ask what is mother nature trying to tell us? There is a message she must be trying to get across; I mean there is always a lesson to be learnt from every unfortunate situation and the greatest lesson that civilization has learned, or is yet to learn, is to appreciate what we have.  Nothing but hope, faith and love lasts forever. Turn to your most important beliefs and share this with your loved ones. Share joint hope that you will always be here to feel gratitude at its greatest presence.

I will leave you with this closing note for today.... XOXO

1 Corinthians 13:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Black Is Back!

That's right followers - black season has crept in early this year!

But never fear, with so many tulle, silk, and lace textures everywhere you turn your style choices are almost limitless!

I always think that if you can incorporate one quality black silk or lace textured LBD into your wardrobe then you cannot go wrong with your layering options ~ your outfit will take you through all four seasons  : }

Daydreaming....

Check out this quirky little Etsy design I came across today ~ all you caffeine junkies out there don't you just LOVE!

Made of natural undyed cotton, these cozy's have each had the progress bar hand-stitched by designer Sewtara herself!  When the cozy's get dirty you can even throw them into the washing machine or simply run under the sink ~ brilliant!

Beaded Embelishments

So you say you're not into wedding gowns that have "beading" or "blingy" bits?  This beautiful design may open your mind to a new world of femininity....

Colour Worship

TEAL, it's a beautiful whimsical & versatile colour that can be used for just about anything!

I adore the colour teal so much that I even took time to restore antique wooden chairs in this colour for my husband and I to sit on at our wedding ~ crazy obsessed yes I am!  Even our Tiffany inspired cake matched  :  }

Style Forward Body Art

Make no mistake ~ body art is here to stay!  With many high-end designers incorporating this growing trend into their runway shows and even major fashion magazines are opting to create spunky digital photo-shop designs for their perfectly ink-free models. Someone hide me now from this epidemic! I may just have to join everyone in making a perfectly small rash decision!
